Dude funny story about that. When I did my brake lines I flared them all with the nuts but on one I messed up and used the wrong nut so I had to cut it 2nd time right nut wrong direction, third time no nut at all!!! Finally got it right on the fourth flare! I was mad that day. Haha
I forgot the nut too, the flare I made was a work of art. This was back in the 70's in Northern Virginia, it was good times for sure. Now I just buy my lines.
