A friend of mine just back from Carlisle asked me for help in selling a few parts. He bought out the guy next to him who was selling a bunch of different stuff including some Chrysler stuff. The guy he bought out wasn’t sure what the hump fit so my friend brought the parts to me. i recognized it right away as a 64/65 hump. This was my friend’s decision on the price - $500 Plus shipping or close reasonable offer on it.

My friend took the 4 speed hump (and 4 speed bezel) to Chrysler’s at Carlisle and said neither Got a second look. I told him I would be going to the Nats in Columbus in August so he gave them back to me to see if I could sell them there. He did say he’d take $450 for the hump or a close reasonable offer.

I see LO23M8B disagreed with my previous post - I’m guessing it was on the price my friend said he’d take for it. It is a bit high but he is the one who owns it so he can ask whatever he wants for it - just trying to help him out. I put him on to Brewers and they told him IF they had a metal hump, they would be getting in the $400 range for it since it’s only available used.

Joe (my friend who owns the hump) said he’d take $400 plus shipping for it.

My friend said $300 plus shipping for the 4 speed hump. It is ready to ship as someone said he’d take it then never heard from him again

Well, the local guy came by and offered a $100 for the hump claiming he found some at the junkyard about 30 miles from here and can buy them for $50 each. I’m well aware of what this particular yard has and they ain’t got doodoo for any style A Body, much less any early A’s, much less with any style with a 4 speed hump in them. Told him he needs to go there and buy them all up and have a nice day. As far as I’m concerned it’s still for sale. What an ***!

The guy who owes the hump came by and picked it up. I asked if he had a buyer - no - but since there’s no call for it like Chevy or Ford parts, he might take it to the metal recycler with a bunch of other metal, motors for a few bucks. I did tell him please reconsider that option since the hump is hard to find and eventually someone will need it. So if he puts it away or recycles it, IDK!
