July 4th I was out cruising and another car crossed centerline and almost hit me head on. I swerved to avoid colliding and as I counter steered to correct the car came around on me at about 40mph. I locked the brakes and slid into a mailbox stand made of railroad ties. Got the passenger door, quarter, deck lid, rear bumper and rocker. Damn near a total. Driver was under influence, no insurance and suspended license. I went to jail for assault and was not convicted but the driver will never forget me!
