Something like this one:

Here is a picture of the proper linkage rods in this kit. Kind of spendy for the whole kit.

Maybe one of the guys on here has the single rod that you need.

I usually make up my own spring return tab and weld it onto the rod.

Seen this set, and yes that is the rod I need but Kind of spendy for the set. Already bought the throttle cable bracket for $35 from Mancini+ ship, so dont need that and there is nothing wrong with the rest of the linkage just need the offset lever for the AVS carb.

Little 411 for you.
The kd rod at the carburetor, does not need to be adjustable.
As long as the rod along the firewall is adjustable, you are good to go.

Here are a few rods i have here for measurements, not for sale though.

When I go to swap meets I grab linkages when I see them reasonably priced. Always handy to have when you need them.

These rods have 2 different angles to them, 12" long.

A perfect illustration showing that there are MANY different linkage combos. If you don't find the correct original know that all is not lost. Lokar makes an adjustable kickdown setup that has saved many projects.

What setup are you running in the picture and do you know the length of the rod? Thanks

The adjustable kd rod along the firewall to the 904 trans is all stock 318 linkage. Throttle cable bracket is a 340 4bbl bracket. The non adjustable rod at the carb with the bracket, is the rod you just passed on.

That is the same rod I have and will not work. Here are pictures of it on mine. First one is in the stock location, it will not reach the outer part where its supposed ride. The second is on the other side of the cable bracket but it would go under the cable and still not line up with the cable. and the last is on the same side with the extention adapter and still not the right angle ore even the length. The 4 barrel rod has the side bend to it.

you need the thermoquad rod when you use the 1482 adaptor(or whatever the number is)i even use it when I run a holley with the 20-7 adaptor...or you can just cut the short 2 barrel one and fab it up to work.

The rod you have in your pic is not the same one in my pic.
I tried helping you with a pic, the correct rod to get, and my experience, but you decided to fight me tooth and nail. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.
I wish you luck.

I saw the one in your picture, and thats what I was looking for. The one you said I passed up are you refering to the one rlcbit shared?

Wow, this wanted thread is turning into a tech thread like the last thread did. Good information here but the op still hasn't found the lever he needs. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

I doubt many other 4bbl kickdown rod threads have cracked 20 posts let alone 30.

It’s really just a meter of the OP combing eBay and other sources to get that price or fab one as there’s a thread from a few years on that.
