Well he picked up his project Duster around six weeks ago and the parts gathering is going forward. He

got his new floor pans last week and found an 8 cylinder K member, manual steering shaft, rebuilt 904, seats that need redone, and a few other goodies. He picked up a 1973 (340) last weekend that is supposed to have an RV type of cam. Plans are for me to port a set of Speedmaster heads and hopefully a Victor340 intake for. Probably upgrade the cam a little too

LOL! Baby steps. I just used this phrase. IMO, it’s the best and safest way to get into going fast. This looks like a fun project coming up for you guys. I see it is taking shape nicely.

It kills me that he is so far away and my help is limited to phone calls and texts but at least we talk more often now. Some how some way down the road I will build and get an engine to him but for now at least I can help with input and hopefully do the top end of the engine for him. I may have a purple shaft hydraulic cam laying around so I’ll check my shelves. I know with the stock pistons he is probably limited to something under .510 lift for now so we will have to do some research. The Denver altitude is really going to dictate what we can do.

good looking project engine should go well , with the victor340 and the heads
good luck with the buikd
