Common small block filter ?

You can usually find a Mopar filter...maybe Purolator. Doesn't Wally have his own brand?

ST16 or ST8

ST8 is full size...ST16 is smaller....used have ST43 that were between the ST8 and ST16 in size.

51515 Wix at O reillys Napa has the same filter in their Premium line (black filter can)

What's the deal with no one liking FRAM anymore ? What's wrong with them ?
Here is the You tube video circulating about the Fram quality inside:
I use Fram HP1 regularly. No issues, its changed so frequently anyway.

I liked the video- moves slow for sure but the guy is through and I bet to a newbie this is good info.

I like these, have the good red silicone anti-drain back valve. For mopars, tall filters.

For my dailies I use the Federated private label filters...good quality and less than $3.00!

I bought one Luberfiner race filter for my dirt car but they are no longer made. The Fram HP1 was a quality piece but is now Chinese.

Guess I will go back to the 51515R....

090 Mopar filter from Walmart is the only filter I use... It clears my headers on my 410 Stroker and compared to the wix filter the holes are more plentiful and bigger. I use it on my 98 Dodge 2500 and my wife's 98 Durango. Never had a problem with them drag racing or for daily driving and they're less than six and a half bucks at Walmart and plentiful and they're black with a big blue M on them...

I’m going to look for that filter, thanks. Never noticed Mopar filters at Walmart.
