Well it’s about damn time.

The virus thing has pretty much destroyed my onsite computer service business as most all my customers are older people that just need a little help with something simple to handle like no internet or how to do what they want to do.
Been doing this kind of stuff for over 20 years after being much deeper into hardware repairs, website maintenance and networks before that.

Before that I was a stick and auto trans builder and ASE certified rear wheel, front wheel and 4x4 “bumper to bumper” as it is referred to.
Now I pretty much only work on what I want, and with the auto experience I have there seems no shortage of people that just need a little help with their project cars.

In the next day or two I am going on one of these jobs.
There will be no shortage of cash available but the poor owner knows next to nothing about his car.
I have done a little carb work on this car to help a friend who was helping this same guy before, but my friend moved out of state and left it to me to help the guy.
This stuff is exactly what I want to do now and am working on getting the word out locally.
I live in a retirement type town and there are a crapload of classics in this area with no good shops with classic experience.
Fortunately I can pick and choose the stuff I want to get involved in.

The current job is a running driving 1965 GTO 4 speed Tri power.
The guy needs his steering wheel replaced, spring loaded license plate gas door installed, factory radio installed and a few other minor issues.
He also wants me to take him out for a “see what it can do” drive.
He’ll ya I’m all in.:D

If he doesn’t mind I’ll try and get some pics and video.

GOOD FOR YOU !! could be really relaxing, if you draw the right people too :)
I used to do mechanical work for a local body shop for extra side money. It wasn't the best arrangement for me.. too many lost parts and wrong parts purchased. I had to walk away..
