Hey guys guess what was not working when I got home ? They said they may have it fixed by Monday night.

I did talk with 6 different people on getting money off my bill for lack of service since the 29th and the last lady said she would note my account for it and after service is fixed i need to call back to request the credit.

Morning guys. Checked the temp this morning and it's 1 degree and feels like -1. We didn't get the frost they said at least but doesn't make me feel any better. It is a red sky this morning as well (red sky in morning sailors warning). Heading out at 8 and going to do the brakes today. Have a great day and play safe.

Well no car show for me today my transmission started to slip.
Didn't want to go in 3rd gear just kinda slipped trying to shift so turned around and noticed it was slipping in reverse as well. 1st and 2nd seem just fine but wasn't far from the house thank God. Fluid level is good no leaks Sooo what the hell???

You didn't take the tranny apart, hopefully you don't have an internal leak somewhere , like a seal , or a bad pump.
Some people are putting GM's 200R4 in their a-bodies. Not cheap but they all like it. You could offset it a little by selling the GV.
never had it apart just cleaned the outside and put it back in the car and the front pump is new when tranny was rebuilt about 5,000 mile ago. Thinking I screwed up adjusting the bands.
Thinking of installing a Manuel 5 speed tranny but at this point I think I'll put it away for the winter and think about what I'll do..
You sure have put considerable effort into it. A break would be well deserved.
