1966 Barracuda disc brake swap

Yes, but you will need a porportioning valve to decrease rear braking power. Nothing hard! Good luck!

Krazykuda the 69 dart setup I have located includes R&L uca’s lca’s spindles rotors strut rods Kelsey Hays calipers tie rods center-link idler arm pitman arm dual m/c and proportioning valve. What would be a fair purchase price?
The steering linkage and strut rods won't work with your '66, but, everything else will. Control arms will just be spares. You don't need to change them. You mainly need everything from the spindles out and the hydraulics.

drum LCA's can be used if you drill out the 2 bolt holes to disk specs, IIRC they are 1/2 on drums and 9/16 on disk. I had brand new LCAs n my 10" drum brakes and when I got the disk stuff i asked myself why I couldnt use the drum LCAs and the only thing I noticed was the holes were larger on the crappy disk LCAs I got off the donor.

Yea 10-4 on the steering. He will only sell as a complete setup. What do you think a fair price would be.

Thanks pishta.

Thanks pishta.
Lower control arms (without sway bar tabs) are identical between '69 and '66. It's the lower ball joints that have a different size hole for the spindle bolts. If your existing drum brake ball joints are good, just drill them out for the disc brake bolts.

Yea thanks for the info cudamark. I planned on not changing the lowers because of the s/b tabs needed on my Formula S.
