So after all the food pix I figured I would take one at breakfast this morning. Biscuit with Egg, Ham slice, cheese and avocado plus Fresh peppers from the garden. Much like Frank, first frost has come and gone up here. Our garden is strip picked. We have been canning nightly. Note the totally mismatched clay bowls and plates. Wife is a potter, we don’t have two matching clay items in the house. She has her own wheel and kiln.

We buy coffee mugs off local potters to sell with the coffee at the market days.

That is super cool to promote the local artisans. Jodi always swears she is going to sell her wares but invariably they end up as gifts to family and friends. I love sipping ale out of the goblets she has made. Feels medieval! And my own personal bias here, but I think liquids simply taste better out of clay.
 
Man it is a beautiful morning and once again, wasting it for uncle sam
