Yes, it has been done. Shoulder belts came along in 69 Standard, but I believe were optional prior. Most 68-down cars do not have he factory threaded boss in the roof to install the sash but it can be added. Do a quick search, folks have figured out several different ways to add the threads. There are several companies that make 3 point retractable conversion belts.
