904 tranny problems

-
470 horse and 500 torque in a street car gets a 727. 904 is for drag racers who need an extra 1/4 second.
Yea I agree with that no problem but now at this point am not wanting to change the tranny to a 727 because I'm running a gear vendor over drive set up for the 904 and a $700 torque converter.

Oh here we go...Have you taken both apart and had the parts from both in your hands to compare? Maybe along with a tape measure..

The op already said he didn't want to switch it over to a 727 so let's not hijack his thread. There are plenty of discussions on this site about 904/727 differences so if you really want to know I invite you to use the search option. It's all been covered.

Not hijacking my thread and your right not gonna give up on rebuilding my 904 and putting it back on the road. I am not a guy that hits the gas hard and wants to lay down a patch of rubber for long. Just having fun in my old age and not needing to race anyone.
