Opposing the law preventing sale of gasoline cars in California

I have heard the news reports about our wonderful governor, Gavin Newsom, proposing to outlaw the sale of new gasoline vehicles in my state. I would like to learn more about this, and quite possibly join and support any organization that will be fighting such a law. Can anybody provide any links to relevant websites or organizations?
