Inflatable hot tub?

Same thing here they're always free.. and I looked into that at first and thought you know if I got a free one or an inexpensive one and fixed it and then pay the electrician to come out and put in the 220 and then this and then that and then I said forget it....

Even better: they're typically free because the made in China hoses which are metric and only made overseas in some random diameter are cracked from ice or too much chemical and it blows water whenever it's turned on.

I rented a house once that had a hot tub, but it wasn't mentioned anywhere in any of the lease docs. One day I ventured out there and found out that in the desert, they're an oasis for scorpions! This one had been neglected and left to sit half full, which lead to bugs which brought out even more scorpions. I killed a couple dozen just taking the top off and then when I drained it I found a few dozen more.

I wound up trying to make it work for as cheap as possible, rebuilt the pump motor (resealed) and fixed some leaking hoses. Put a new heater element in it (elec), but those damn bugs were a menace and left me so paranoid I finally gave up on it. At least I left it empty when I moved out though..

They glow under UV light though, so I'd go out out with an led black light at night and try to eradicate them... They loved the drystack paver wall in the backyard (probably housed a lot of food for them).
