First thing to do is determine if its trans fluid or engine oil.
Engine oil can come from rear main, cam plug or pan gasket. Trans fluid would likely be input shaft seal or vent. Usually wont come out of the vent unless its over full.
Thank you for replying. I did check the fluid and it’s bright red so I’m certain it’s the transmission. Is it common for shaft seals to leak? Any insight to what may provoke them to leaking? The car isn’t run that hard believe it or not.
