MWPW Gaskets

Felpro part number 1218, that's from edelbrock website for their max wedge head. Or edelbrock makes some #7225

There is 2 different Max wedge gaskets for 2 different head type. The factory cast iron heads have a bigger port than the aluminum max wedge heads. Kim

Dam,for being such a dodge guy I would expect u would of know this: Max Wedge Port Window. Well maybe ur not as old as some of us. Kim

I got the max wedge part......

Here's one from Mancini racing from Mopar should be the right one for cast. Or ask Superformance.com he can make or have a set that will work.

I have for the cast head. They are bigger but would work. I need for the aluminum head. I only found out there was a difference when I got my Super Victor intake. Kim

Then the edelbrock or the felpro numbers would work sine there's are aluminum. Mancini also lists superformance gaskets with dimensions for port size.

The 1218 are like what a stock original MW would have used.

It’s not a B1 style gasket.

Thanks Dwayne. I have a set of the MR. Gasket 302s that are for the original max wedges. Gasket is quite a bit bigger than my Super Victor intake. I gave the porter the Hughes gaskets that matched the SV to port my Indy SRs. I didn’t know b4 that the cast iron max wedge gaskets had bigger ports than the aluminum head max wedge gaskets. Kim

I guess I don’t understand ........if the heads are the size of the Hughes gaskets......why wouldn’t you just get some of those gaskets?

I’ve had Indy heads here that were ported to the 302 gaskets.
They’re a little bigger than the Indy gaskets.
I believe the MP gaskets are the size of the 302’s.

I don’t think I’ve had any of the Superformance MW gaskets here.

When I take std port SR’s or EZ’s out to MW size, I use the Indy gasket as the template.
