How the heck do I remove a wire from this connector. The wire I am trying to remove is one of the wires that runs through the Grommet top left of firewall on my 75 Duster It is the blue one Thanks

I'm not very good at explaining. A retaining "tang" needs to be depressed. I have an assortment of thin stainless steel windshield wiper inserts / reinforcements that I use for this operation. I file them down and bend them accordingly to slide into the plug and depress the tangs. You want to push the wire deep into the plug first and then slide the tool in to depress it.
Some one will chime in with some good pics of what I'm talking about.

Depress is not the right word. You are creating a ramp for the retaining tang to slide over it's retainer.

Heres a pic of one. Bodyperson has it nailed pretty good. I buy a dollar store nail file and grind it down to fit in the cavity. Push wire connector into housing and then use nail file or whatever to slide in under the tang

Always just used a small flat blade screwdriver. "Depress the tang" and keep the driver in there in such a way that the tang can rid past the driver on the way out of the slot.
