Just purchased my first muscle car/A-body, been wanting one since I was about 15 years old. I got into srt4 neons about 10 years ago and spent way too much money and time building those.

That being said this car popped up for sale literally 5 minutes from my house, it was meant to be.

Its a 72, old drag car that hasn't been on the road in a long time. From what I can tell it was a 318 gold duster. I really enjoy autocross, so I'm going to toss a 318/360 in it with the manual valve body 727 i got with it and focus on making the car handle. Then eventually its getting the 5.7 hemi I have backed by some sort of manual trans.

carb a 5.9 Magnum. Id not mess with the 20 lbs weight difference of a 318 and you'll probably find a 5.9 cheaper than a 360LA.

Welcome from Texas. I autocross my 5.7 Barracuda. Loads of fun. Check out Firm Feel for your suspension. They do great with Mopar road race/autocross suspension.

Welcome aboard. Nice to have you. That is a very nice start. Looks pretty solid. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Welcome! I just seen this on FB, I love the mural in the backseat!
