And now it's time for another annoying story from the old days
Guy comes into the parts store, this is ?? 80'ish. Has a 62 Corvette and wants some of the big vent hose under the hood for the heater system. He didn't know about size so I went outside with him. A small crowd had gathered, and I measured the hose.
Voice from the peanut gallery: "Izzat ah 327?"
"Yep"
"Yeh ya can always tell those Corevette engines 'cuz THEY ARE JUST A LITTLE SHORTER THAN THE REGULAR CHEVYS"
