Ain't that the truth? I really love the old school Gen1 small block Chevys. They are super cool. But this LS thing. I don't get it. I mean......I do. 700HP with a stone stock junkyard motor and a cheap eBay turbo. I do get it. But the thing is, all those type guys treat all that stuff like it's worth zero. They blow it all up and just go get more. Dumpin tons of nitrous in um, bunched of boost....they don't care. I got a guy lives right down the road. Has a Camaro with a big LS and a large by HUGE turbo. The thing's 3000 plus HP. He's (or the guy driving for him) has run low 4s and they're lookin for 3s. 1/8 mile of course and they DON'T care how much stuff they tear up to get there. Here it is. This is like last year when they were still workin the bugs outta the then new motor. They were runnin way low boost on it compared to what they do now.
I actually think this is TnT at the Silver Dollar in Reynolds.....so that would be a 1/4 mile track.
