If a Nova wasn't bad enough......

That's exactly right. I've told this before, but we had this one customer was a real jerk. One day he came in askin the young girl that I trained for some small block Chevy valve cover gaskets. She asked the usual questions, to which he replied "they're all the same, don't you idiots know that?" At that point I looked at her and said "I got this, I'll look um up". I looked up up for a 79 Chevy Malibu 305. Still 4 bolt valve covers, but the top rail they offset for some unknown reason......it might have to clear the EGR valve. Anyway, we had the dedicated offset hole valve cover gaskets in stock, much to my surprise. So I sold them to him. An hour or so later, he came back in raisin hell about the gaskets bein made wrong. I said "no, they are for a specific application that had offset bolt holes. Next time you come in here, answer my employee's questions and stop bein an asshole". I exchanged the correct gaskets.

............Or give 'em a set for the early 58? earlier
