What is your Holy Grail Mopar?
For me it is the 1969 CHP Dodge Polara, the 69 CHP Polara has long been seen as the holy grail car among vintage police car collectors. With the mythical stories of speed from the day they went into service the cars were grabbed for their engines, nothing more than a standard HP 440. Of the 1500 or so that were built only a dozen or so known to survive, of those only two fully restored.
When I first looked at the idea of doing a vintage CHP car the 69 stood out for its styling, I soon learned of its holy grail status. Thinking I wouldn't be able to afford a genuine car I started on a clone, several months into it I located a genuine one, it was tight but I worked out a deal, it needed work.
