Picked up a hood scoop at mopar shootout in sacramento last week. It has four studs(all four corners) but i dont want to drill holes if i can help it. Some new ones come with adhesive to attach to hood. is this available to buy without the scoop? The scoop is open in front if that matters. It is for looks only ,on hole for air. It has a 3/16" rim all the way around(all three sides).
Imo- No matter the adhesive, at speed I'd worry that the scoop being open (not sure how high it sits above your hood) would grab air, launch into your windshield and land in a brazillion pieces if it doesn't hit someone behind you.
