Snap-on payment plan

The chrome sockets fit in tighter spots then most and hold up pretty well when using impacts on them.

Last year, I was at a HOG Rally in Johnson City, TN. They had set up a VIP tour for us. Now that I have seen how the tools are made along with all the QA's that go along with the forging, machining and testing, I will be upgrading to Snap-On Tools over the next few years. It'll be worth it in the long run. Their product is worth it to me.
That's God's way of saying you're making too much money LOL. They do make a good product though but they also know how to charge for it.

Have Ratchets ,sockets, line wrenches and a bluepoint D.A. sander I bought in early 80's.
Only broke 1/2" ratchet gears once using a Pipe. Replacement still going and still sanding with that orbital D.A today...………..
I believe I still owe some money on the tools....but salesman quit never came back to the shop....LOL

Other then my scanner update I owe nothing
We have the matco truck coming around for the first time in 15 years, tools sure seem a lot cheaper
I owe a couple hundred on a Mac welder tig stick mig junker it is nicer than the cheap inner shield junks I’ve only ever had.
Bought as a new return as the tech moaned it wouldn’t tig aluminum. Saved 1200-1400

yes snap on would replace the blade of a screw driver, but the handle was not warrantied, broke a 19 mill snap on socket, he had 8 on truck, said he would have to order it, next week told him no hurry, broke it loose with usa craftsman, sure made him happy, broke a Mac tools socket, he had it shipped to my house next day

Now they replace the whole thing. Had several replaced in the last few years and these tools are/were old.

As far as warranty goes, they Pretty much have gave me amazing service.
Certain things with a year or two warranty kind of blow. Most tools never ever a problem.
Recently it changed though as I had 14 years of a Snap-on rep who owned his franchise, actually his boss had 3 and he bought his route. I think this guy is corporate.
I will say this though, they used to spoil me with tickets to the us Nationals or Route 66 Nhra events, a new Snap-on winter jacket, a Leather jacket one year, I have several like new in stock.
That all ended in this booming economy

Anybody ever had a dealer just disappear?
I had a new guy start up and run for six months then poof he was gone. I owed him over 200 bucks and I never heard from him again. Nothing nota zip.
We have had tool trucks come and go, im sure they just give up and claim bankruptcy.
This last guy is great to deal with, cuts me deals and cones right to my home shop. Think i need a new ratchet. Need a gorilla proof one. Son shredded 2 long handled cheapies trying to loosen wheel nuts. 3/8 arent for wheel nuts.

Have snap on tools but now retired. Local dealers hate to warranty their tools. All they can say is "Oh, that is old!". Recently at a Goodguys show, turned in three tools no longer made as credit to buy one new 3/8 wobble socket. That one socket still cost me $150. The more recent chinese stuff is not too bad and can usually buy individual replacements w/o buying a whole set. My son has always coveted my snap on 1/4" set in metal box. Cost me $275 many years ago- now almost $500. Even if I were in the trade still, it would be hard to justify buying snap on. My two cents.

I work in heavy manufacturing, as a result my tools are 3/4 drive etc. lots of weight in the drawers. With exception of Mac,other box’s just can’t stand up to the daily abuse. You start rigging box’s with straps and slinging them around with a crane and the difference becomes rapidly apparent. I too have some great “free” winter coats. My wife howls when I bring home free Snap on swag. I think I have sent my reps kid thru college. Home box pictured, nuff said.

That one top drawer on your box holds all my 1/2”-3/4”-1” sockets ratchets, extensions. Rated at 1,000 pounds and it’s easily got that in it. Not many can handle that kind of weight.
That’s 1/3 of the weight of an A body in one drawer. Engine and trans. Damn good boxes

I caved. Again!
But i use it daily, cant run off to city to warranty a tool at princess auto when it breaks.
He shows up, i look in flyer and there is a deal. So i grabbed it. Ok. Them. $300 plus tax.

I don’t think those winter jackets are “free”. Spend $500 on a $50 wrench and we will throw in this jacket.

Probably far from free.
Always around Xmas he usually had one for me and my my wife some years.

Had a nice fleece fall jacket. $70.
Seemed like a good deal. Until my wife, son and daughter each wanted one. $280 later...someone’s laughing but it aint me!
