Fabbing up a scoop....

Man I've seen that and it was almost the inspiration to try my hand at forming an AAR scoop using a 3/16 wire "buck" and using steel. Time is of the escense though so that will need to wait.

For now, we're going to focus on getting what needs done, done and roll in it until he shops off. While he's away, I'm going to continue to work on it and get the 8.8 ready. The plan is to install it when he's on his ten days of boot leave.

Anyway, our plan for the scoop is to do exactly as you had done with the 3M stuff. That might be something I do when he's away as well. For now, he's doing as much of it on his own and learning on the fly (we both are).
