The HP stamp is interesting. I'm assuming that is a 426 street wedge block but I'm not an expert on them. I do have a 426 street wedge car but the original blocks are fairly rare. The ones I've seen had the smaller font HP but who knows, maybe the big font HP was also correct. I don't know what the block is worth, all depends on who wants it and how bad they want it. I'd want to know the bore size and see a sonic report before I offered any money on it. It isn't worth more than a few hundred to me but it might be worth more to someone else.

It’s a 65 block so it’s not from a Max Wedge. I bought one last year for $300 and I just picked up 64 block which is correct for my Street Wedge Belvedere this week for $400.

Its a street wedge. For someone who needs a 426 for and original car its rare. But finding that person may take a life time. For a build up to install in any car its a boat anchor. These blocks are very weak compare to the later 440's. no casting support. The 440 motor below was bought at a garage sale for $250 notice the support casted in the side of the block date is 9.25.68. So asking whats it worth is a difficult question. It depends on who needs it and how bad they need it for an original 426 car.
