I’m trying to find a decent carburetor for my 64 valiant wagon. I bought a no’s one and it turns out to be for a later year with cable style. Any help is appreciated. Will need to be shipped to seattle

If you're in no hurry and a Holley 1920 will work for you, I have one coming off my 66 Valiant in the near future. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. It works just fine and is on a sweet running car.

I’m trying to get my carburetor fixed and noticed the fast idle cam is missing completely. I’m not sure how to find a replacement? I have been looking for another carburetor with no luck. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Maybe clue us in on what you're workin on? I assume slant six since it's in the slant section. What carburetor? Year and all that "stuff"? I might have something. But I need to know if you have a red one or a blue one. Know what I mean Vern?

Hahahaha sorry. It’s a 64 valiant wagon with slant and automatic transmission. Carter carburetor with the rod style throttle

Does this one look like it?

Yes except the choke lever looks a little different. Also I don’t have a choke. It’s a aftermarket cable into the cabin.

It appears the same to me. My throttle arm is simply laying down because it does not have the return sprAng on it.

It looks like rustys has the linkage. Mine is missing all of it. I need a whole carburetor and choke assembly.

I'll hook you up with the whole carburetor and the choke rod and stove if you want it. Then you can nix that manual cable.

Awesome. What do you want for it? With shipping to 98106 seattle wa. thanks.

Yes, I have a choke pulloff and all the little related spring and linkage on another carburetor....but that carburetor doesn't look quite as good. The pulloff is even good. I'll swap it on the better looking one and pull the choke assembly off and package it up together.

Send me a PM at this point, as I don't want to break the rules by turning this into a for sale thread.
