What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Went to put the air cleaner on and discovered this QFT 950 body has a 5/16" carb stud thread instead of the 1/4" I'm used to. Not hard to fix - grabbed a long 5/16" bolt with one end threaded, screwed it in and measured where the top should go, cut it off and threaded the other end with a 5/16 die.
Now I just need a fancy looking wingnut :thumbsup:
Carb in its new home. Can't even see all that shininess... will probably try it out tomorrow. Hope the .100" butterfly holes are big enough, otherwise it'll have to come off again to make them larger...
