Trick Flow SBM Heads

Has anyone actually just swapped to these heads without changing the rest of the setup (cams, intakes, etc, etc) and posted their findings, on any forum or shared amongst engine builders/ racers? Swapping from any oem head including those modified up to a certain point (porting and $$ spent) would obviously see varying degrees of impressive results one would think, only to diminish to the point of being negligible when compared to the other similar ootb aftermarket heads one may be swapping from. In the “jury is still out “ or “not enough evidence” phase more likely?
Just my .02 but short of back to back dyno runs im not sure there is an accurate way to test them considering all the variables. Then the problem is compare them to what?, there is nothing to compare them to ootb, you would need ported edelbrocks/speedmasters and then who did the port work at what cost to the average guy lol. Trickflows are all by themselves and it seems as everybody wants to treat them as a race head when they are only a 190 cc port but then they want to compare them to ported edelbrocks which unless you have a bench or pay a bunch of money to have them ported the trickflow is superior in price point/flow. They also have better geometry, better quality springs/parts, cnc porting etc. I consider them the best priced/quality street head available and until edelbrock offers a cnc version at a couple hundred bucks less (to pay for better springs and a b3 correction kit) to me the trickflows are a better investment.
