Refreshing 360 after 10 years....
Sunday morning....Dials 10.47.......Goes Red with a -.005 light.......Runs a 10.463 @ 125.12.......Nothing Broke....So Good weekend...Hopefully this Engine will be a spare that is never needed.....
We think 4.30 gear is hurting the 360 on the back half of the track.....I just compared a 10.335 time slip to the 10.46 time slip.....we were with .020 slower at the 330 mark....at the 1/8 ( car in high gear before 1/8 mile) we are .08 slower.....at 1000 ft we are .085 slower.....and .13 slower at the 1/4....the 2.74/1.55 low gear set make up during the 4.30 gear...but once you are in 3rd....you are pulling the 4.30 vs the old 4.56.....
But anyway.....it was good....Now.....I got to get the 75 Duster back together this week as I got the new adjusters for the rockers....Then putting new brakes and struts on my daughter Mazda next Sunday....then this engine comes out...
