Dart Stripe?

When I did my stripe, I shined a light from inside the trunk so that when I was moving it over the side marker holes, I could get it perfectly lined up. Maybe it shined through so well because my stripe is white, but it's still worth a shot if you're going with a darker color. Hope that helps!

Here's where mine are and I think it was mostly determined by the bottom of the stripe at the valance (which also has to be cut through at the joint after it's in place) and the bend over the quarter.

Here you can see that I did not cut it at the joint like str12 mentioned. Boy do I wish I did, because I couldn't figure out how to sink it into the recess of the joint by just working it with the tools I had.
