SB Mopar 671 manifold for sale, not mine

-
I guess my question would be,is that a fair price ?

Its worth what ever you want to pay. SB mopars are very hard to find today. Don't snooze or you'll lose. And you can take that to the bank. "Big Al's" would get more back in the day.

I know what I paid for one. They are usually made on Offenhauser intakes. Just the intakes today are like hensteeth to find. There is a lot of work that goes into the placement of the adapter for an equal air fuel charge and angle for the belt alignment. Just a little bit off and premature belt wear happens.

I wonder where Coyote Jack got his intake? Maybe he will chime in with some wisdom.

I just noticed that thing is on some Island in the Pacific. Shipping might be a bit

Mine is a Indy Modman intake. A lot cheaper than that Offy. I did modify the blower mount plate to clear my dizzy. All in all it seams to work pretty good.

Wow!

That is crazy.

Dyers is where I bought mine. I believe He is still making them.

Anybody know what aluminum casting costs these days? Thought about taking my lower intake in somewhere to have casted.

casting involves lots of work, making the sand casting cores for the runners, outside green sand casting for the external dimensions, final machining for the gasket surfaces and drilling the mounting holes. It would be easier to adapt a tunnel ram: Mill the top as low as you can to retain the dimensions of the blower output and waterjet cut a flange for the mount. You can get a sheetmetal intake fabricated and they can probably make it for a blower top. https://www.weinlemotorsports.com/Custom-Built-Intake-Manifolds
