727 converter identification

I’ve never seen them stamped like that either. It may no be very efficient. No idea what the stall is either. A guy I know got it in a trade years ago. It is used. He wants to trade it to me. I think he can keep it. Kim
As I've said in the past Kim, ANY used converter, make great door stops. As you know, it's not hard to make a converter look good externally. The rattle can paint job, polish the hub, and voila a rebuilt or hardly used piece. Cut them open and find what they really looked like. My ex-employer always put a serial number on their high stalls, and on any rebuilds they did for other brands. The serial number of repaired other brands always started with the letter R.
With the serial number, you could find out what the converter was originally built for, who it was built for, stall speed. etc. You could also find out if it had ever been returned for stall adjustment, or repairs. It made it easy for someone looking at one of their converters to get the whole history of the unit. In my opinion you've made the right decision.
