Is there a way to order carpet from ACC with the better level of loop carpet? What do you ask for? Can you specify the better material if you go to a middleman like Legendary? Can you (66vert) provide a better heel pad that we could use to replace the crappy one?
Right now what is saving me in the heel pad department is the factory floor mats that Legendary sells. In the 1980s I bought a 70 Dart with the factory floor mats in it and when they started wearing around 1999, I took the originals to Legendary and they started repoping them with their own pattern for the back (the originals were different, had a pentastar, smaller spikes, and instructions of where to cut for console cars), but the top if very correct with a hellacious thick rubber heel pad.
