Nice boots...lol..

I put a set of BFG Advantage T/A's on my wife's car last year, pretty decent tire for the $$ IMO.
I hope they will grip I didnt plan on going with them but they matched the ones I got for the front so I thought that was a nice touch. Once these are wore out I will go with something wider and more performance oriented

They work well in wet or dry from what I've found, and the car handles really well, I run them at 35 psi. I have a full set of winter tires, so I can't say what they are like in snow.

For your valve covers, this is the proper PCV valve.

I wont drive this car in the snow so that wont matter to me. I did want a tire that was good in the rain tho. Because even tho I dont plan on driving it on the rain you never know when it may start raining out of nowhere. And I plan on driving it to work and when I leave in the mornings it's often Dewey and wet.

Is that the correct oil cap? I honestly didn't know I had two of them one came off my slant 6 it has long neck with a small snap fit cap. And I have that one. It fits so I was gonna use it. I have several of the turn in style for the later years but I dont have the later valve covers. I'm not sure what I did with the original valve covers off this 360 I cant find them. I have the set of 340 ones that I'm using and a set of 318 ones that came off the truck engine I wont use those they are dented up pretty good. They will be my head painting covers lol

Well, the valve covers look to be between 65-68 ? Something like that.
So being correct for your 75 isn't going to happen.

Having said that, since you painted them up so nice, why not use them. But first lets get a couple things straight. What you have now is 2 breathers. These are generally called "push on" breathers. What you want to do, is have 1 breather and 1 pcv valve. The breather will be on the driver side, the pcv will be on the passenger side. Here is a pic as an example.

I also got these little things for the valve covers so they all four would match. I even paid classic industries premium price for a half an ounce of plastic
It hurt a little I'm not gonna lie. But I wanted them to match and I wanted my plug wires to not get melted in half lol

Yes exactly my valve covers came off a 68 340 the pcv is on the left and the breather is on the oil cap on the right correct?
The breather is built into the cap ?

In regards to what side the breather goes on, it depends what year you are trying to follow. And yes, the breather is built inside the cap.

I guess since its 68 valve covers I will keep it looking like a 68 engine. As much as I would like to make it look like a 75 engine( and I do plan on it in the future I'm gonna pick up some 75 valve cover eventually) I'm not to concerned about it being year correct down to the final detail as long as it appears original I'm ok with that. I dont think to many people out there when I pop the hood is gonna say oh those are 68 valve covers on a 75! If they do I'd be impressed Haha. I just want it to look good tbh. The valve covers are 68 340 the intake is 71 340 and the breather is a 72 318 and the engine is a 77 360 hahaha yea she's been put together like Johnny Cash would have done it!

Well I'm super excited. I stop by the tire shop on my way home this morning and got the tires put on the rims. For the first time in close to 3 years she is a roller again. And I pushed her about 5 feet just to make sure it does roll! I think it looks amazing it's just the rake I was going for! Lots of pictures coming!

I have a set of valve covers off a 1974 318, what I remember of them, they were in decent shape.

Looking pretty cool, digging the poverty caps and ratty appearance. Reminds me of my first 70 Dart GT.
Yea I'm actually really liking the ratty look too. Even tho I'm gonna paint it I think it looks really good with the 20 year old worn paint and multi primer look lol.

Better keep yer eye on the white dog. Looks like he's ready to lift his leg on the new tires. :D
