That's what we were going to put it in, an 87 318 w/302 heads (small valves) in a 90 W150. Using a 600 Edelbrock AVS2 and Performer intake, headers, and 3.55 gears for a nice torquey low/mid rpm's engine to drive daily, bomb the beaches and haul stuff, pull vehicles even. Just depends on what your intended use is

I have a 318 that was running when pulled that I bought for the 360 heads that were on it. Got a set of stock 318 heads to use and a 318/360 intake. Will be able to tear down the rest of the way in the next few weeks. If you still have this and it is buildable....I’ll be back.
