Single plain intakes for small engine with FI

@Syleng1 My personal opinion is the bolt on throttle body style injection systems are no better than a properly tuned carburetor. I’ve said this before on the forums. Most good mechanics have no idea how to tune a carburetor beyond throwing a jet or two in it. And to make them good you really have to get deeper than that. WOT tuning is by far the easiest spot to tune in a carb and most guys never go further than that because they don’t know how. All of the wet fuel flow problems like puddling with a carb still exist with TBI and there is no way around it. If you are going to fuel injection, go all the way with a good stand alone ecu and a port injected intake. If you are considering a tbi set up it’s just as easy to learn how a carburetor works and tune it.

Where ur wrong is , f.i. can be tuned from the drivers seat , no timing lights , jets , or air bleeds to screw with !

And there are more than one "expert" f.i. guys that say a single plane will work better .
