Seen my uncle hand crank his old Land Rover several times when I was a kid.
 
That's pretty cool!
And, bearing in mind that most people these days can barely open a can of soup, you are near God status!

I had to hand crank our Cocksbutt 40 and Minneapolis Moline many times when I was a kid. Kim

Our old "Farmall Regular." Made about 1924. These have a big gap between bell and transmission. My Dad mounted an old flywheel there on that coupler, and a starter, lights, generator. But half the time the old 6V battery was dead, and you had to either anticipate use and charge it, or hand crank it anyhow. LOL. I got home from school many a cold winter's night and had to argue with that thing to plow snow
