Yeah, it's really a cruel disease. Lost my dad to it 3 years ago. Was really hard seeing his mental decline over a number of years and was a shell of himself at the end. That first time he didn't recognize me was probably the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I miss the hell outta him every day
