I'm not far off the mark.

Now consider how much money you will have to invest to get it perfect.

Doubt you will ever get return on investment.

Now if you were building it for yourself to keep then the investment is perhaps worth it.

I have my dad's 67 dart convertible, he bought new, So Cal car, garaged. Needs full restoration, 30,000 to 50,000 to do it right ( I'm not talented enough to do the body and paint, or rebuild the engine)

Even after it was all done it would only be a 15 to 20,000 car.

M Code is another story.

If you look at the 6 figure Cudas, Challangers, Chargers, they have to be numbers matching, 440, 4 speed, 6 pack etc to get that money.

A 318, 70 Cuda, is going to bring more money than an A body (some rare exceptions) in the same condition
