New to the boards from British Columbia

Hi guys, I've been following the boards for a couple years now picking up what I can as I tackled a few things on my father in laws '69 340 swinger. He owned the car for 33 years and in the early years of his ownership he'd done most of the available bolt on mods and used to race it at the local track. Over the course of owning the car his passion admittedly faded for the car. My father in law and I have been splitting use of the car and he's let me get my hands dirty with it, the car has been stored at my wife and I's house over winter the past few years which gave me time to get into it. To date I've swapped the 727 automatic for a Brewers four speed, gone through the electrical side of the ignition, cleaned up the engine bay, and done various interior fixes. I'm sad to share that my father in law unexpectedly passed earlier this year and the dart's been passed down to my wife and I.
The dart has been a passion for me over the years and of course has a huge sentimental connection for me and even more so for my wife. It has a tired numbers matching 60 over 340 that I've been planning for some time to refresh, that's what I'm working on this winter. I've picked up a standard bore '70 340 block and NOS W2 heads that I'm going to build and set aside the numbers matching 340 for now. This is my first intro to classic cars and I'm learning my way as I go, I'm sure that I'll be posting questions along the way. These boards have already been a huge help so thank you for that and glad to be on board.

Cheers, Mike N.
