Tuff Wheel Adapter does not fit

The steering shaft is made to be collapsible so in the event of a accident it will collapse and not impale you, there is a little plastic retainers that hold the inner shaft and the outer shaft in the proper length, that plastic retainers might have broken and your shaft is now too short. you would have to totally disassemble your column to check that out but it might be the problem. I had that happen to my scamp and what i did was drill out the plastic and used some copper shear wire to hold the steering shaft at the proper length.
Yeah, but the upper shaft bearing limits how far outward the shaft can go because that part of the shaft is fixed.
