Ready to purchase a bolt kit for my Magnum build. Summit offers the bolts im looking for in a set(valve cover, oil pan, timing cover, water pump, fuel pump and distributor clamp and others) for a LA engine. Ive read that not all bolts interchange between the 2 engines. True or false? If they don't interchange which bolts are different? I know the head bolts are different. I'm using LA timing cover and water pump and oil pan. Thanks for any help!!

Most of the difference in bolts is for the water pump and some for the timing cover. Also the accessories that bolt up to the water pump and T cover like Alt, and AC unit.
If you are using LA water pump and T cover I would go with the LA bolt kit. The rover covers will be a few bolts short as they use more bolts.

I just sourced bolts at the hardware store for my valve covers, and fuel pump. Bolts for the oil pans can be sourced easily also, they're all pretty much the same.
I had an old LA engine so I used all those for the timing cover and water pump.
