I pondered doing the same even though Im going to rebuild frontend all at the same time and using poly bushings versus conventional rubber products .

Interesting. My block is actually out of a 72 pickup that came with the mounts on it. And Im not necessarily trying to go cheap, just want everything to work without causing more problems down the road.
 
So little update. I ended up calling summit as the slant to v8 adapters we’re out of stock. Guy I talked to said they had some on order, but about 80% of those were already sold. So I bought a set from that order towards the end of October and they just came in the mail Friday. So they’re still out there.
