Irwindale dragstrip got around the regulations at previous events by calling everyone thru the gate a participant or crew member, and limiting access, no spectators (general admission).
Granted, that is a pretty difficult stand to take at a primarily spectator show like fall fling.

People at our shows don’t spectate. They shop in the swap meet and look at cars for sale.

The car parking was on the other side of the facility away from the track. The track had closed stands.

The flyer says “per person” “walk-in”
