I am doing just the front end right now. I just ordered QA1 upper control arms, 1.03 torsions, Hellwig sway kit, PST strut rods, and Dr. Diff 11.75 brakes. Also, idler, pitman, and C body tie rods. I think I will just put wheel adapters on the rear, until I can do an 8 3/4 next year. Now I need to figure out wheel tire sizes, and backspacing. Any suggestions? I will post some pictures today. And yes, Newport is a cool town.

Nice that’s bunch of good stuff there. What shocks are you going to use Id recommend bilsteins. For wheels and tires are you going with a 15” big bolt pattern? For the wheel after the 8.75 swap and big bolt axels it makes tire size alittle different. There is some real experts on here can help pick out a perfect size. You can get Dr Diff offset rear shackles for alittle more tire width.

I am going to big Big pattern, and 15’s I think. 17’s would handle nice, I just don’t know if I really care for that look. I was hoping to get the wheels I want to run now, with a standard backspacing 4 or 4.5, and use with the wheel spacers. Even it I have to run a smaller tire. Then when I do a rear end, I would move springs, and hopefully fill the wheelwell with some rubber.

A few pics today. I painted it last Sept. My daughter got married the next week, and I didn’t get it cut and buffed. I am hoping it won’t be like cutting iron.
