Hi All,
My 69 Dart GTS ignition tumbler falls out of the switch, tumbler comes out with the key, or falls to the floor when u hit a few bumps in the road. I'll post a few pics of the tumbler/switches I have bought over the past few weeks;
My tumbler that keeps falling out is the top one. The 2nd one was what i bought to replace my tumbler (I was surprised when it was so small) The 3rd one...I bought the assembly thinking that would be easier because the tumbler size wouldn't matter. (This one also has a small tumbler in it but no bezel). The switch in my car looks like someone tried to force the tumbler it in without turning the key a tad to free up the button.
So on my way out to the car this morning to check out things in advance, I tried to see up under the dash to take the a/c vents out, and checked the "69 Service Manual" but failed to find it there either.
So can anyone steer me to a link(s) that would help me get to the old switch so I can put a new one in? I know I'm probably looking right at it but not seeing it.
