my project in danger

Hope it works out for you.
What year is the Dart?
Hopefully any engine available that year would be OK for you to swap in.
my Dodge is from 1970 the latest news is not good. there is a possibility of passing it to the technical control in Holland on behalf of a Dutch resident in the country, for 8minutes.
and after importing in Belgium, but it's not sure.

Here in Oklahoma, we don't even have safety inspections.:D
no control, the dream.
1- and for insurance how does it work for you?
2- and when you mount an engine with a lot more power, is it always the same insurance?
I hope to know your country one day and go for a walk in the department stores

For insurance I always LIE, they never look at or check what engine you actually have.

probably in two weeks I know the definitive answer.
if the answer is no.
I would go and sell it with all the original mechanics fitted,
and try to buy a Dodge A body V8 in Brazil and have it imported here in Belgium.

You can't get the car inspected with the slant 6 then swap motor after words?? Or do they inspect it every year??

the big problem is after a traffic check. and in the event of an accident, I am really in big trouble.
the controls are increased a lot here with the madness of the polluted cars

NO one ever looks to see what type of engine you have after an accident???
my everyday car is a Peugeot, at the last annual technical check I failed because my "certificate of conformity" issued by the manufacturer is very slightly torn.
I must ask for a new one at 250 euros.
if I get arrested for an inspection or if I have an accident, it is automatically involved because my last inspection is recalled because of a slightly torn document !!!

Then maybe it is best that you sell the car??

now,
imagine yourself a citizen born in Brazil, Italian nationality, driving an "old american car" with a big engine in Belgium.
I am considered a criminal.

That’s funny. I have distant relatives in Brazil from before ww1. (My Italian relatives to Brazil)

Family lore was smuggling diamonds in musical instruments.

very interesting. The diamond traffic is a very old story in Brazil already at the time of the Portuguese colonies in the 17th century.

In NC 35 years or older, no inspection of any kind!
I'm assuming if you're pulled over, or in a wreck the officer can give you an inspection!

.....I clicked on this post because it caught my attention. After reading all the replies, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and thankfulness (that often get forgotten, by me) to live in such a blessed country. GOD has blessed the USA and although we have our share of problems (now, more than ever, it would seem) this is the greatest place on earth! Thank GOD for the USA.....and MOPARS!.....just my 2 cents.....carry on....

just fight it

Fight the Euro socialist machine? Won't happen. Look what Fiat did to Mopar Performance. Would appear to be well gutted and on the way out to me. I don't know exactly what's going on but I'd say they're selling off what's on hand and that might be about it for performance from Chrysler Corporation.

every year a technical inspection for new cars.
and every 5 years for those over 30 years old.
