69 Dart Custom tire issue

You need 7" wide wheels. The 8's are too wide for those cars without some modification. I have 255-60/15's on 7" wide with 4.25" backspace. A tight fit but with stiff springs, no rubbing.

Very nice car ToolmanMike , I have always liked the look of your car.
I really dont see why more guys and gals dont follow your ideal set up. 14 on the front and 15 x 7 on the rear 245 or 255-60-15 on the rear. It looks great and works.
