Looks like Im getting a set of SLOTTED cop car wheels for my 69 Bcuda. I do not like dog dish covers. Was thinking about satin lug nuts (are those available- reasonable?) and painting the center of the axle and front bearing cap. What other ideas suggestions would the members have?

Beer can center caps.
Ive been seeing this trending lately as a diy/temporary option. Not shown really well here but Ive seen elsewhere is people leaving longer "legs" and folding them out so that they get sandwiched between the rim and the rotor.

You can put Rallye wheel center caps inside the hole that the dog dish caps snap onto. You just have to drill the holes for the screws that hold the center caps on. I've seen several sets done that way, and they look good.....especially if you run trim rings with them.

thanks for the idea.....................

I tried setting the sombreros in the dog dish centers years ago and it looked like it was glued in with the height of the lip much taller than the dog dish ring. The 14" Rallye center was much deeper than my 65 13" steelie. Just an observation.

Im leaning toward a clean/simple/LIGHT WEIGHT look, so maybe just paint the axle end in brushed alum and use chrome acorn lugs................thinking about white wheels

Not mine but mine sat higher than these. I like the lower pics off a Magnum GT Rallye but its a different rim.

Yeah kinda like 68/69 Road Runner style. I like it. I don't know about satin lug nuts. You could take chrome ones and have them blasted. That would do it and pretty cheap too.
